I feel like you could condense everything that Sorkin is desperately attempting create in fiction through “Newsroom”, and instead actually prove it all in reality by simply pointing at Rachel Maddow. In a sense, “The Newsroom” is real… except really it’s better, and kinder, and less vicious and petty, and – oh right, I remember now, anchored by a smart woman who’s got her shit together – and it’s called The Rachel Maddow Show.
Where’s that “West Wing” guy? I miss that guy…
